Using Movement as a Starting Point
Joshua Block teaches movement and music at Madison Simis Elementary in Phoenix, an International Baccalaureate School. He teaches classes on music, creativity, and imagination at Arizona State University. He is a Past-President of AZ Orff and is a movement instructor for Orff-Schulwerk certification courses. He is a member of the AOSA Board of Trustees and has presented at the AOSA National Conference. He has also completed his Kodály certification and is Past-President of Arizona Kodály Teachers Society. He directs the training choir for the Phoenix Boys Choir and teaches private piano and voice lessons.
